Wendy Griesdorf is certified by the Law Society of Ontario as a specialist in estates and trusts and serves clients across all of Eastern Ontario. Wendy has been listed as one of Canada's Best Lawyers each year since 2014.
Wendy received an Honours BA from the University of Toronto in 1990 in English and Semiotics and an LLB from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1993. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 1995 and obtained her mediation certificate in 2002.
Wendy practised estate litigation in Toronto under the mentorship of Brian Schnurr until 2001 when she was appointed adjunct professor of estate litigation and director of career services at Osgoode Hall Law School.
In 2004, Wendy moved to Kingston where she established her own firm exclusively in the field of estate litigation and estate mediation.
Wendy is retired sessional law faculty at Queen’s University and a retired deputy judge of the Frontenac County small claims court.
Wendy has lectured and published consistently in her field and in related areas of law. She has been perpetually working on a book titled "You Shouldn't Need a Lawyer to Die" and a sit com series "You Shouldn't Need a Doctor to Live."
